I have a female yorkie who is spayed, but if I were to have a male, unless I was planning to breed him, I would definitely have him neutered. My daughter has an unneutered yorkie who marks...lifts his leg on things inside and out. Therefore, the little guy has to wear a belly band while inside. I don't think it bothers him, but I would think he'd be more comfortable without a belly band.
I think marking is one of the problems seen with a lot of unneutered male dogs and it seems once they start, they never stop! |
