Default Day2 without Spunky

First Thank You for your very kind words of comfort.

The first day was very hard. Every inch of our house reminds us of him.

He loved to play with ice cubes. We called it playing Hockey. AND he was good! I can't get in the refrigerator just yet.

The window he sat at, waiting for anyone to visit is unoccupied.

It got so bad that we had to leave the house and sit at a park until we knew we had to go home from exhaustion. (crying)

This morning I expected him to come out from behind the bed so I could take him outside. He never came!

My wife is so used to him being right behind her everywhere she goes. And he is not there.

I look out the kitchen window and I can see him going up the hill to do his business. But I know I'll never see him again, at least not soon enough.

All of the routines we had are gone. I see the carpet runner I installed to make it easier for him to go up and down the steps.

In the refrigerator is the tiny hamburger I made for him Sunday Night. He never ate it.

This is so hard to deal with and I'm one of those guys that is known as being tough as nails.

He should still be here is the toughest part.

Thank you all again.
