This is how I feel. If you rescue a dog you can't expect to get back what you paid. You have to chalk it up to doing a good thing and being happy that the dog has found a good home. Selling her UNFIXED will only increase the chances of her once again ending up in a bad situation. As far as cost of spaying goes. There are MANY places in which it will cost no more then $125.00 tops. I live in NJ and the Humane Society does it for $90.00. In my eyes if you rescue you finish it to the end and that means spaying before placing. Just my .02. Elaine
