I am not overly worried. I view the mainstream media as the "boogy monster" at times... sending the public into a panic rather than giving them the tools to be prepared. We homeschool so I don't have to worry about the boys picking it up at school...but hubby is a nurse so if they have cases at his hospital there is the chance he could bring it home. I will be watching closely to see if an immunization is released early next month like the health officials are saying. The boys and I never get the flu immunization but will if a new one is offered. While it may (probably more like it) not stop you from getting it it can lessen the severity of the symtoms.

Luckily from an early age, my boys have been somewhat of germaphobes so they wash their hands often and when we are away from a water source we use the alcohol based germ killers.
