So, I wonder what happens if you send in a sample of a purebreed? What would you get back?
Do you think it's safe to say, that even if Ksena is a purebreed - it won't come back that way....
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I just sent my sample in yesterday - so if it comes back that Sully is part German Shepard....what then?
I guess I will have a good laugh. But seriously, how does anyone know they have a "real" purebreed....anyway.
DH says that they all came from somewhere and if there's a genetic DNA marker from 300 years ago or 1,000 years ago that says German Shepard, or wolfhound or whatever....then that just means that at some point in the evolution of animal - there was a mixing of the breeds....he says that we evolved from chimps....so at some deep genetic level there has to be a trace of monkey in us....right?. Why else would he have a hairy back.
