my golden retreiver died of cancer recently. She was vomiting, had diareah, loss of apaetite, she lost a whole bunch of weight, ans because she was so weak she sort of staggered around a little. We knew it was cancer because we were able to see it, but the cancer wasnt what killed her. The cancer messed with her immune system and because of this she was suseptible to sooo many viruses. She died of canine distemper, we know it was this because of the type of seizures she was having. I hope everything turns out all right, i cant deffinatly say for sure that this is what it is because i am not a doctor, but these were also my babies symptoms as well........ we managed to keep her alive for at least a couple months using brown rice and fried egg for food. This is relatively unheard of for cd, usuall dogs that have cd die within a couple weeks |
