Gracie Ruth use to sass back when scolded. She'd toss her head from side to side and woof-woof right back at me. She even went so far one time as to turn and walk away swishing her bum from side to side, while tossing her head and woofing. She stopped a few steps away, looked back over her shoulder, looked me right in the eye, stuck her nose up in the air and WOOFED! as if to say "Whatever" I snatched her up and got right in her face and growled at her.
I thought her eyes were going to pop right out of her head.
She's outgrown the sassing for the most part now, thankfully!
