This is probably a really good bike for you Bubble! Good for road biking and if you ever do go trail biking you can use it for that too. Price is pretty good and Schwinn has a pretty good reputation for exercise equipment.
If you really want to make sure, go to a store that specializes in bikes, they will have cheap to expensive bikes and you can talk to the sales rep about what you want the bike for and get whats perfect for you.
My brother bikes but he is a triathlete and his bike was $6,000!!

I think the whole bike (even with the tires) weighs 12lbs! I am sure you don't need that kind though!
