Has anyone done any research, or has anyone started their puppies on glucosamine/chondroitan as a preventative to ward off joint damage?...G/D actually builds cartilage, so I have been thinking about starting Apple on it...She is 6 months old...I gave it to my mastiff, that had hip dysplasia, but that was for inflammation, and to help build cartilage, after she was diagnosed w/hip dysplasia...I talked w/the company I buy my liquid G/D, and they said I could give her 1/32 tsp. (1 ml.) a day...that's the dose for 0-10 lb dogs....I might go to the vet, tomorrow, for Apple's rabies shot, and I will ask them about it, but thought I'd see what has been discussed/used on here?
