i have separation anxiety as well.
when milu was younger, i went to see a movie with my fiance and left her home. it turned out to be a really long movie, and i started crying on the way home because i didn't want to leave her for that long.
also, i was very upset and kind of panicked the first time i took milu to the groomers. they took her to the back room to wash her, and they told me i am not allowed back there. after that time. i never let groomers wash my dog anymore. i wash her myself, and then bring her to the groomers, and i wait for her there until she is done.
we are working on 'my' separation anxiety. i am starting to leave the house without her on short trips. and i am less anxious about leaving her now.
