I always give both of my boys a treat after they potty, or come when called. My Lhasa has a habit of ignoring me and doing his own thing, so when he comes when called he gets a good boy treat, and he is 6 years old. And since we are making our own treats now, several different kinds, some with chicken, others with turkey and then beef jerkey, they never know which one they are going to get. So they both come running just to see what yummie they get. And they also have to sit and stay before they get that treat. I figure get as much out of them as I can lol.
