That's right.There is a pull out drop pan that sits below the floor of the crate.
I may have forgotten to say this but, she sometimes messes on her blanket also. So I would think she would feel that. Her crate is 19 inches long, 12 inches wide and 14 inches high. There is no room to put an actual bed so I put a little blanket in one end. It's really upsetting when she messes on her blanket.
What's really upsetting to me is the other 2 yorkies that I have had, never did this. Potty training them was not bad at all. Once they were house broken, which didn't take long at all, they didn't mess in the house. I was just very lucky. That's one reason this is so hard for me.
