I have a son who was born with a Primary Immune Defect so I worry all the time about Infectious diseases
I usually get a call ( from health department and also our Ped. Immunologist) when their is an out brake of certain diseases close to our area arround where we live and precautions are taken with the whole family. I was thinking of calling his Immunologist sense their is a case in Elyria, Ohio ( too close for my liking, we live in Sandusky, Ohio)
Hopefully I will be put to ease about it all.
