Why not leave the harness on? I found this poll and discovered that most people who use harnesses don't use them all the time. Susan goes out on a leash most of the time, so if she doesn't wear her harness all the time that means I'll have to put it on her every time I take her out -- including first thing in the morning and last thing at night when I'm half asleep and when she's hopping up and down desperate to go out. It just doesn't seem practical to me. I take the harness off if she's going to be home alone, otherwise she wears it. It doesn't seem to bother her. Why do people take them off and doesn't putting them on and taking them off get bothersome? I'm just curious about the thinking on this in case I'm missing something I should consider. |
