Although lots of baby food is safe, I wouldn't recommend it, puppies have different nutritional needs, and some baby foods contain onion, which is ok for humans but very bad for dogs. So be sure and check the ingredients. They do get a little carsick if it's a long drive, and loss of appetite is fairly normal when your tummy is bothering you.
