I try to give people who buy from petstores the benifit of the doubt because I honestly dont think once people see a program like this or are told the horrors actually understand what buying from pet stores does or where those babies actually came from would buy from them again. We owned poms for years that we bought from a very reputable breeder. But that said when we got our yorkie I had no clue about this kind of stuff and I bought him from a place that I have turned in to everyone I could find because I knew how bad it was the minute I arrived there. And yes I am guilty of supporting them that one time because I couldnt bare to leave my baby in those horrid conditions. Needless to say I found YT and learned so much after buying Laddy that I would never ever give one of those places another dime and if I cant find a reputable breeder next time I will go to a rescue and adopt next time. I hope people who watch these shows realize before they make the same mistake I made
