My daughter and I noticed our Yorkie wheezing last night, she could hear the dog on the other side of the room. I looked at the clock and knew it would be the Emergency Hospital we went to if it came to that. She had her shots, Heart Worm test, Bordatelle (sp) yesterday too. The vet told me she shouldn't have a reaction to anything before I left. I'm glad it was a slow day and we had a bit of a chat before I left with my baby. I think you have a good idea, wait a few min before leaving the vet after shots or meds are given in case of a reaction.
