What is your idea of skinny? They aren't supposed to weigh over 7 pounds? As picky as they are, they will eat when they are hungry. My view is, if he is barely going to eat, let it be high quality. The rule of thumb for me is Quality not Quantity? Besides most Yorkies that you see are over weight and don't excercise. Alot of people that have these dogs treat them like babies as if they are too delicate to exercise/play. Plus they don't really fill out until they get older around a year and a half or so.
