I'll differ on one statement on that ad...I've spoken with a behaviorist who assured me...offering her comfort when she's frightened does not reinforce her fear.
Storms which come in the middle of the night are the worse...we will be woken up.

ya we try not to comfort Layla, which is hard when she is in your lap shaking like a leaf- i go back and forth with it- she is going to be a complete mess anyways, at least she won't be alone being a mess- or just leave her... usually i'll go sit in the closet with her or by the toilet... So i'm really hoping this vest will work.
