Yep, those prices were correct a couple years ago, probably have gone up a few dollars. What can be very expensive is buying the plot in the cemetary - they make BIG bucks on those. Back in 1985, we paid $8000 for my hubby's mom's funeral. That included the cemetery plot.
Simple cremation is the least expensive - if you have burial, you have to have a plot. Of course, with cremation, you may want an urn or something which can increase the cost.
