Roughly two and half months ago I cried everyday for three weeks. Finally he got it and I stopped trying to trade him in for a pair of new shoes. I kid I kid.

As a baby his bladder just can’t hold anything. Austin would play and pee. Get excited pee. No control. And your baby is still young and doesn’t know you (what makes you happy). I stopped taking him outside after a week it was just too stressful and cold. About a month ago he got it. Finally I can count on one hand how many times I have to clean up the carpet. And he has started to go outside on command. Now we know each other better he gives me signs, I had to learn them. My husband and I travel for work and for whatever reason he hasn’t had an accident in the hotel.

Austin plays with his pee pads as well. Sometimes its after he poos as if to say. “Look what I did Give me a treat”. I yell a few times and he’ll stop for a minute.

I just wanted to let you know how much I understand your frustration. Austin is my first dog as well.
