Does Solid Gold use ethoxyquin, butylated hydroxytoluene or butylated hydroxyanisole in the Wee Bits formula? What kind of preservatives are used?

Thank you for your email. We do not use any chemical preservatives in any of our foods. Our foods are preserved with a natural tocopherol based preservative called Natur-Ox.

Our foods are preserved using mixed tocopherols. This a mixture of differing
forms of Vitamin E most often used as a preservative or antioxidant to stabilize
fats to prevent them from becoming rancid. Their stabilizing effect depends on
the type of fat used.
