How old is your puppy? He won't be 3 months until May 9th? So I'm figuring a little over 10 weeks.
He needs food available at all times. He's too young to go that long in between meals. If you want to mix in some wet food for those 2 meals of the day, that's fine. But always have kibble and water available to him. His stomach is very small and it can only hold so much at a time.
