Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure exactly which protein source she is allergic to... a previous vet had me switch her to the food that was sold exclusively at veterinary offices called Medi-Cal. It looks like it's made from the same company as Royal Canin, and was not really a good food at all. The protein source is duck, but her allergies were the same, she was biting herself all the time. I'm guessing it may have had to do with the poultry, but it could possibly have been corn or other fillers as well. With the Orijen she still bites her paws a bit, but not nearly as much.
I did notice the red meat small bites the last time I was at the pet supply store, so I may try that next!
