Buster had giardia as a pup when we got him at 12 weeks. They found it on his first exam the day after we got him, and at that time he didn't have much of an appetite. It was tough to tell, though, whether it was the change in environment or the giardia that decreased his appetite. Either way, he got a little skinny while we were treating him. We put him on a week's dose of Flagyl, and he's been clear ever since. That stuff worked wonders for him. |
