A lot of people just don't understand. I was not a pet person until after I married my husband. My father loved animals, but my mother never would allow us to have any. A year after marriage my husband brought home a kitten and it was over with then. I am now an animal lover and will never change. I learned just by being around them how loving they are and how they can give so much comfort. I am getting my 1st yorkie pup November 12th and I can't wait. I agree also, some people just don't understand animals and I should not expect them to do so. If they would only give them a chance then they would understand as we do.
