I'm not sure if they are the same or not. I used Karo's syrup. I only had to use it once. My furbabies didn't have a problem with hypoglycemia. My baby girl did once, the syrup worked fine. It's usually a problem if they are not eating. I bought the same food the breeder had so they would eat with no problems. Good luck!
