our female did the high pitch excited barking thing when ever we reached for her walk stuff ..
we got her over it by holding all day her walking lead..then randomly picking it then putting it down while ignoring our yappy dog..the barking gets unbearable but eventually stops!
we got her over the excitement by taking her back out as soon as she got in and just going in and out the door lots .. neighbors must of thought we were strange dog owners but it eventually worked .. now we can go walkies with only a waggly tail and no over excitement barking |
