I agree totally! Unless the dog is a senior and incontinent or in heat, I would limit its freedom of movement in the house if it wasn't house trained! My dog wears a panty when in heat and when I am not home, she stays in a large X pen with a plastic truck liner for a floor covering! Just in case I don't get home in time. But I would never diaper her with the intent of letting feces collect in them until I was ready to change them!
When we are on a car trip, she is allowed to go potty outside of the car, before she gets in and when we get to where we are going, she gets another potty break. She has never been on a long car ride, but I would certainly schedual potty breaks for those too! |
