I have a 4 yr. old male Yorkie who we suddenly lost his companion almost 2 weeks ago. Since then I take him everywhere I can, but during the week he is left at home about 6 hours a day.

I am not sure I want to get another dog right now and if I did I want another female yorkie (fix or not - my male is fixed) 1 yr to about 4 yrs old.

Does anyone just have one dog? My lil' guy seems so lonely since our lil' girl passed away. Can a dog be happy alone?
