We got our baby at 9 weeks and our biggest issue was getting him to eat at first. We had to buy canned dog food and warm it a little and literally force his mouth open and put it on his tongue after the first initial bite he would eat it but only from our hands. This lasted about 3 days then he went on to his kibble. Also make sure you have nutri-stat on hand in case of hypoglycemia attacks. Other than that just lots and lots of love. I know lots say they aren't well socialized and maybe some aren't but we really have not had issues with Laddy on that front. Good luck.
