Hi there! congrats on your new addition. I myself just got a new baby and have a 2yr old also.
I know you must be very excited. I know I was.
I am concerned that the breeder is letting her go so early. Puppies are usually weaned and on food before 8 weeks.
You will find multiple similar posts here about the same topic..and some not too nice ones. My intentions are pure and because i am honestly concerned. Please do not feel i am judging you in any way. I certainly will try to help you anyway i can.
I can tell you I bought a xpen and keep the baby Piper away from Bella when she is not in my eye sight. Esp if i have to leave the house or am sleeping.
Bella is incredibly sweet and has made not attempts in front of me to harm Piper..but because Piper is a baby she pounces on Bella. I guess what i am saying is.. I fear that it could happen that Bella might just get fed up and strike back. Piper is playing non stop because she is a puppy. My Bella just sucks it up and sleeps hard at night now..lol
My baby came to me already potty trained and eating great.
She is very very smart.
I cant imagine getting one so young. I got Piper when she was 16 weeks old and Bella when she was 12 weeks old.
Is there a reason the breeder is letting her go so early??
Again.. I am going thru this now ..just a few weeks ahead of you. Please pm me with any questions!!
