O.k. Now is the time to get your gear together and make a plan for potty training. The more you schedule and keep things the same for the puppy the easier it will be for both of you. I used a puppy playpen with a potty pad (either the washale kind or disposable ones in a heavy frame), food, water, bed and a toy or two. Crate training is good too but it was harder for me...couldn't stand leaving that tiny thing in a crate with nothing to do for so long!

Do you plan to free feed? It's a good idea to free feed while they are small so they always have food and fresh water available. As they get older you can schedule feedings 3 to 4 times a day...then you will know they need to go poo shortly after a meal and training will be easy.
