Sorry, but I never found another answer to her crying. Honestly, as soon as we put her out for the last potty run, she would start to shake and cry ---I mean really, really shake. It was the only thing that worked. I swore I would never sleep with a dog, and this is the first one that I broke that with. I am 65 so, what the heck!!!! At least I can sleep now. Ha1
