My Joey had liver shunt surgery in March as well, but not at Tufts, and he has much more energy than before. He also had no outward signs of the condition. It was found when my vet did the BAT on him prior to his neuter. He is being re-tested in June, but for now is on a strict diet. I wish you the best of luck with your little one. It is a scary time, but you will feel so relieved when it's over. I have heard good things about Tufts, although I can't think of anyone offhand who went there. Please keep us posted. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
