  Hi. It sounds like she is nervous.. I would start with sitting in the car with her bring her bowl of food, let her eat in the car, sounds crazy I know, but it helps relate good things with the car, these things have worked for my furbabies. I then drive 2 blocks or so, then back home, I say, all done, good girl. Another thing I've done is take a flossy, bullystick and let her have at it. 
 Jazzie is a bit more nervous about things than the other 2 furbabies so I give her a calming pill called Quiet Momemt found at Petsmart. With the things I have mentioned she has gone from panting and shaking on a 30 minute drive to riding 2 hours and being relaxed enough to sleep.
