The only things I can think to suggest to you are:

Don't take her on a ride right after she's eaten. I'd wait at least an hour or two.

Make frequent, but short trips. Even if it's just putting her in the car and going around the block.

Make the trip to some place she loves to go...like a dog park or pet store or grandma's. Whatever she gets really happy to see.

Maybe offer a small treat / reward for the end of the trip.

I had to do this with my GP as he was having a lot of trips to the vet and though he loved the attention they gave him, he still knew he was getting a poke too. His messed were huge to clean up.

Try to think of it from your pup's perspective and maybe that will lead you to an answer to your problem. I'm only giving an example here....so if her situation is some thing like she doesn't go out much and is usually in your house going on rides can be scarry. And if you get upset when she throws up, that will make her more nervous.

I don't know you so it's hard give advice. But I hope it helps...again I'm only giving examples so you can try and use them to figure out what she maybe thinking. Good luck!
