We have an elderly Boxer - Booger - who will be 13 years old on May 5th. I cannot imagine life without her -- she has been such a vital part of our family for all those years. However, there will never ever be another Boo. I love her beyond reason, but I know that she can never be replaced. One day we will lose her, and I will shed an ocean of tears, but I would NEVER EVER consider desecrating her memory by trying to duplicate our precious Booger.

Not that I am comparing my Booger to my adult children, but cloning Boo would be like cloning one of my skin kids if tragedy was to visit our home -- like what the heck, I'll just have a new one made. Just wouldn't work for me.
