awww that is VERY normal- my vet said to apply a warm compress to the area- it brings the blood to the area to help reduce the swellign. In the future- as them to give it to him at two sites, not just one- this should help reduce the swelling. Also he will probably be very tender in that area.
If you notice him having difficulty breathing, if he is very hot, or acting lethargic- he needs to see a vets ASAP.
