I didn't have my dogs chipped, but I think it's a good idea.
My dogs don't wear collars, either, so they don't have a nametag on them. I use a harness because I'm afraid of causing damage to their delicate windpipes.
If I did get them chipped, I'd get new nametags with their name, phone number and the word, "CHIPPED" at the bottom. Maybe that would signal that they should scan them. |
