Yes, please stay away from Pauley's Pups. I have gotten 2 Maltese (the only dogs that I'm not allergic to). My first I only had for less than 2 months. Daisy had a liver shunt. She was only 4 months old. Then Pauley's gave me Lily, she's been gone a month now. I'm not sure what was wrong with her. I came home from work and she was gone, she tried to hang on until I got here, I was a little too late. I will eventually get another fur baby but I can't do it just yet and I will NOT go back to Pauley's ever again. I know 4 people that have gotten pups from there and only 1 out of the 4 had a problem. I know that Pauley's has been shut down numerous times, but he manages to open back up. Ashland/Hanover needs to do something to keep this from happening to anyone else. My heart breaks for all those poor pups there.
I am looking for a great Maltese breeder with a good health warranty. I can't go through what I have been through again. I'm so grateful that I did have the time that I had with Daisy and Lily. And I know I will see them again.
