Sissy had it twice as an older puppy (7 & 9 months). She became anorexic with it as well. Definitely difficult to get rid of completely and once they've had it, they are susceptible to getting it again and stress is a major trigger.
I would get started on a good probiotic right away to help the intestinal system stay healthy. Now at 3 years old, Sissy is dealing with early stage Protein Losing Enteropathy as a result of the giardia she had as a pup.
