Rawhide chews will not fully digest..Dogs have gotten them lodged in their throats and stuck in their intestines. I thought bully sticks were the way to go. I had given one to Sadie one night and she nearly chocked to death on me...THANK GOD she brought it up herself..I was ready to stick my finger down her throat...this happened at 11:00 at night and I am an hour away from the ER vet...I would have lost her,....needless to say I don't have ANY chewies in my house...I am considering the everlasting treat ball...they sell them at Foster and Smith and petsmart.
