Hate to tell you this, but it is seperation anxiety! My little Snoodles got that way, and would shiver and whine. I finally take her to bed with me, and it has all stopped! I actually have to wake her up to get up now. She will sleep forever with me if I let her. I get up during the night to go potty, and she goes to the bottom of the bed and waits for me then cuddles in my arm pit. It has helped a lot, but I can forsee difficulties in it if I get sick. But she is so eager to go to bed now and cuddle uop nice and warm that I put the crate in the garage for just emergencies or long trips where I might have to leave her for an hour or so without supervision.
Good Luck! Pat
