Well, most likely they will first try to Heimlich to see if something needs to be dislodged. After that, they *could* try intubation - but if you don't know if something is stuck, it may not be an option. It also depends on how long the dog has been w/out oxygen and whether or not they can get the heart beating. If the heart cannot be restarted, there would be no reason to intubate.
