 Microchip checking
Genghis has a microchip, and I think the idea of the microchip is great! However do shelters have the device that checks for microchips? I heard it's not mandatory for vets to check for microchips, I was wondering if shelters had them, otherwise what is the point? How do you know if the chip is still working? My vet hasn't checked it (I got the chip from a clinic before changing to my current vet). Are there places to find out if they still work? |
