My advice would be to not use it regularly, but to just have on hand in case you see her get a little shakey or if her gums have lost that healthy pink color. IMHO using it too often throws them off their eating.
The first month or so, whenever I'd be taking Gracie Ruth out with me, I'd be sure to pack it along with some of her kibble, a few treats and a bottle of water. I'd offer her some kibble several times while we were out, I just wanted the NutralCal along in case she needed a quick shot of sugar.
