You sure found out the hard way that all Yorkies are not created equal. The YTCA sets out the blueprint that responsible breeder's should follow to make sure Yorkies continue to look like Yorkies. Because Yorkies have become so popular and therefore profitable, they have become a favorite of greeders who care nothing about the breed standard. Or naive owners who mistakenly believe that putting any two Yorkies together will result in puppies that look like Yorkies are supposed to.
