Hi!

How excited you must be!! Please post some pictures when you can. Have you decided on a name? You didn't say how old your pup is, so I'm going to assume young, say 12 weeks.

Best food: it's always best to continue feeding what the breeder has been using and then if you want to switch, do so gradually after your pup has settled into her new home. There are many thread discussing food, try doing a search in the Health/Diet forum for some of them.

Treats: I'd keep it simple at first. Cheerios are great and shouldn't upset a puppies system. I personally do not like rawhides because of the danger of choking.

Shampoo: Again, there are many threads discussing the different shampoo's available. I'd stay away from human products and would use a puppy shampoo that is no tears. I started out with a brand from the pet store and have tried several of the higher quality brands. Right now we are trying Coat Handler and so far I'm pretty pleased, just wish it had a better scent.

Only other piece of advice is to have some NutraCal on hand for any hyperglycemia emergencies.

Again, congrats and I can't wait to see pictures!
