I had Cash for two years before I got him a friend. I wanted him to be a good example for her.
I read somewhere that if you get two as puppies, they bond with each other and less with you. If you get the other puppy when your dog is older, they still bond with you and your new dog can learn from the older one.
I agree that you can't have just one yorkie!! I think two pups together would be great friends and the bonding will be much, much easier.
